Good first defense...these two should let it marinate a second...with Adamek's crazy fans, a rematch should be a Garden sell-out.

Sorry I missed you at the fight Cliff. Had I known it was you there for Boxingscene I would've stopped on by the press section.

        He should be.

I would like to see the fight, the first one was fantastic!

As for a rematch, Cunningham could win it pretty easy. He fought the wrong fight the first time around, and ended up on his ass 3 times because of that, but it was still pretty close. He needs to use his jab more, stay off the ropes and not get into exchanges with Adamek.

If Adamek V Flores does happen I will be happy as all hell. The winner should give USS a fight later in 09 though.

            I'm all for a rematch

            Adamek-Flores doesn't sound bad either.

From what Darryle Peoples from the IBF told me, they have ordered Flores and Marco Huck to begin negotiations for an elimination bout.

Does anybody know why Cunningham calls himself "USS Cunningham"? I know a lot about that ship.

He was in the Navy, I know that much.

But that ship was decommissioned in 1971 and sunk in 1979.

                      Flores-Adamek would be ok.

A Cunningham rematch down the line would be a good idea, but there's no need for it to happen now. Adamek won without controversy, and as spectacular as the fight was, that kind of excitement is unlikely in a rematch. Fights like that break out for a variety of reasons, and can't simply be repeated. Rematches are often disappointments.
