I really don't get why I should trust Arum. To me it seemed like a crazy offer to me also, but it was not Arum's offer all he had to do was collect the money if the fight lost money that would be Goosen's issue.

Aslong as there was a contract Arum's side was getting 4 million (unless Goosen intended on getting sued or planned on filing for bankrupcy).

yeah i think arum is a liar. its bull**** that he has so much power in boxing and now with manny being #1 he will be that much ****ier. i can't stand arum and was wanting manny to get beat just because of that.then all of his top money makers would have been beaten in 2008.

i do agree with the fact that Arum cannot be trusted but nothing has ever been shown to suggest that Margarito is scared or is duckin Paul Williams starting from when they asked for the immediate rematch and Williams camp rejectin it. My main gripe with all this has been that people blame Margarito when its clearly Arum and Goosen's fault that this fight has not happened yet!
