Why the talk about Manny Pacquiao retiring after 2 or 3 more fights? The dude is in his prime and is just about to be 30. Arum was talking about how Pac was going to save boxing? how can you do that in 2 or 3 more fights? How does that work? Make millions in those 3 fights and say "wellp see ya later boxing im rich and I dont need ya anymore"
Floyd last fought De La Hoya, beat him, then fought ricky hatton, beat him. I can just see people bringing up how Pac stopped DLH and will stop Hatton even sooner but thats just because that isnt Floyds style of fighting.
Is he eating floyds leftovers?
Theyre resumes are both debatable.
Pac beat a prime barrera, but does that get you all this talk about an ATG? He had 2 debatable fights with JMM, the winning fight was against a past prime 35 yo Marquez that he barely edged out.
Got beat by a past his prime Morales, then beat a washed up and weight drained Morales that had just come off a loss at the hands of Zahir Raheem...so Raheem should get some praise too because he beat Morales right before Pac did...at Morales's actual weight.
He then beat bums in Solis and Diaz. Beat a past his prime Barrera that just showed up for a paycheck and to prove he could finish all 12, not to mention he too was coming off a loss to Marquez.
Pacquiao and Mayweather are the same. The only thing that seperates them is their styles. Mayweathers style is less exciting but we gotta understand that its worked for him hes still undefeated.
