How good was Duran at 135

Like the title says, how good was Duran at lightweight. Can you name any fighters past and present who you would consider to be superior to him at that weight.

Yeh ive only seen a few fights of his.Seemed like he just liked to brawl.Get hit once while dishing two out, like a younger Manny.Seems also like he slowed a hell of a lot when moving up to welter.Completely different fighter.

I think Whitaker might have been able to beat him.

I would give Whitaker a good chance at beating him...but I wouldn't be confident in Whitaker pulling it off.

His best performance at 135 was the 3rd Dejesus fight in my view.

Complete performance. Good boxing, controlled aggression, excellent defense, vicious body attack, etc.
