    New Faces of 2009

I hope 2009 will be an exciting year for the wide world of Boxing.

There's a lot of talent out there right now. As soon as they start picking up experience, getting some real good fights in....they'll be a force to reckon with.

I'm doing a little research on Devon Alexander. He's a youngblood. 21. Unfortunately, he's being promoted by Don King.

Andre Berto is another up and comer i want to see succeed. Yes he carries a belt (that was vacated BTW by you know who....) but he still needs to prove his worth as a champion

Hatton should be doing some good things in '09. Besides the fact that he'll be running into Pacquiao's fists if they decide to squab.

    Pacquiao of course.

Kelly Pavlik is another young buck who has a promising future. As long as he keeps his ***** wired tight.

    Paul Williams, Chad Dawson....

I think 2009 will be the year of the youngbloods.

Out with the old, in with the new.

These guys are the ones who'll bring boxing back to the main stage. Too mnay southpaw for my taste.

What do you think of Andy Lee? I think he was just hyped up by Steward. The guy lost to Brian Vera of all people.

For some reason, i feel really confident that the youngbloods will do good.

The first one to set it off is Margarito getting Mosely outta there. It amazes me that people still believe that old fighters from the 90's or in some cases the 80's still has a chance against tip top young opponent.

DLH didn't stand a chance. Mosely doesn't stand a chance.
Age catches up to everyone. Except Bernard Hopkins of course.

Im really looking forward to Berto stepping up the level of opposition. Hes got huge potential. Same goes for Gamboa. Hoping he tempers his style slightly and refines his defence so that hes less open to punches.

                Fcuk YEAH Berto.

So when he starts making it big, i don't have to jump on the "banwagon" I think one of the best weapons he has is a super sharp right uppercut and a right hook when he's on the inside.

I hope he proves his worth again Collazo. When is that bout?

I haven't seen Devon Alexander in action yet. But i've seen him training. He looks aiite.

Shawn Estrada, the olympian, looks like he gots some handles.

When is Andre Ward gonna catch a break?
