He was still implying that he felt blacks should be somehow superior.. to me he is a racist. No matter how "intelligent" he tried to make himself be he lets his true colors fly when put under pressure. That's the same reason he called some latino guy "Pedro" on a radio station without knowing his name and the reason he threw the Puerto Rican flag. I dunno about you but if it's your own flag do whatever you want to it, it's your flag.. but I wouldn't let a foreigner disrespect my flag in that way. He would of been had his knee caps broken and I would have made sure he couldn't ever fight again.

Its not that 'whiteboy' is super offensive, its simply that if a white boxer said 'blackboy' the **** would hit the proverbial fan. Its a double standard that shouldnt exist. Either you have it that both can say what they like or they say nothing racial at all.

Most of us hardcore fans do not want to hear that crap.
Skin color has been an issue in boxing long before Bernard Hopkins was even born. LOL!

        Remember Jack Johnson?

Also, I don't hear "boxing fans" crying when certain Mexican boxers and fans say stuff like "We have the biggest hearts."

Why is there not an UPROAR?

Imagine having a flag waved in your face? What kind of vibe would you get?

Question, would you feel good about that?

How is Hopkins a racist? He talks shi* about everybody. When he fought Tito, he threw down the flag. When he fought Joe, he made the whiteboy comment. When he fought Jermaine Taylor, he referred to Jermaine as an "UNCLE TOM".

It's who Hopkins is... he doesn't care who he disrespects. He's a bully. His motto is "if you don't like what I said, do something about it".

It's really that simple. He's not a racist though.

I would have grabbed it from him.. he took the extra step of tossing it on the floor though.
