I don't think he means any harm by the things he says, even if he probably shouldn't have said them...it's ridiculous folks get worked up about it. On the other hand it's equally ridiculous that for Joe Calzaghe or Vladmir Klitschko or Kelly Pavlik to make an equally "racially-insensitive" comment would be far more damaging to their image and career.

The problem is not the racist comment on its own. The problem is the racist comment in an environment and media climate where this is a tolerated way of expression for one ethnicity and not for another. This reveals a ethnical hierarchy in media and a cultural climate that is not equal but in fact has an anti-white bias.

Problem is that crap like this is tolerated only as long as it is directed against white people, the people that built the modern world and lifted the entire globe out of the dark ages.

People dont seem to understand that it wasn't what he said, but how he said it. He called him a "white boy" and he isnt wrong, but its saying he would never let a white boy beat him, as if there is some disgrace in losing to a white person, no matter how good this person is!

I'am not saying white people didn't enslave Africans and profit on their misery. What i'am saying is that all peoples did that to each other in those times, black chieftains enslaved other blacks and sold them to whites and each other, ******s raided southern Europe's coast and enslaved ten thousands. It's all part of history, all people and races have their past.
What we can't do is to blame people for it centuries later and claim compensation for it. Also we cant have an official view of history that see some people and races as perpetrators and some as victims applying this perspective on world history, its false and biased.
