If Adamek returned fire and said i'll beat down this black boy, there would be an uproar, Hopkins would be calling him a racist. Black people today get away with so much racism just because of what happened decades ago, when they wern't even born. Modern day black people are born into a world where they have equal rights, and to keep on complaining is just ignorant. If anyone says anything about the colour of their skin (even if it's not racist) to them it gives them an excuse to call them a racist. In the context that its used, I'd say yes. There really isn't a derogatory word for whites, but when people use "white boy" in a certain context, you know they're not being nice about it.
