The only network that seems to put up snooze fests seems to be HBO. I cant remember the last time there was a bad fight on Showtime. VS has been putting up good fights too, most of them were lesser skilled wars, but now they are stepping up their game.

I agree Im tired watching boring 12 round snooze fest or blantant mismatches on ESPN. Maybe now that they got rid of Wednesday night fights they can step their game up.

i think developmental fights should stay out of television. we need more championship fights on tv.

Versus has improved their match making since they don't have that contract with top rank anymore, which open the doors for more fighters.

Agreed. Versus has really stepped up. Although this is one of the few cards that actually came through from an entertainment standpoint, they are at least trying. This Saturday's card with Toney and Ward is another good one, only downgraded because of Thompson pulling out.

Props to them. I hope they continue to do a couple shows a month.

Didn't you say Dawson-Tarver was the worst fight you've seen all either? HBO has produced good fights too imo.

Indeed. This was a great fight which helps wrap up the boxing year on a positive note. Restores a little positivity after that garbage card last weekend.

I hope VS. continues to televise quality cards like this with championship caliber fights.
