dude if dlh beats up the old man and junior he won't even be able to step on mexican soil again.

Oscar looked like he had nothing left against Pacquiao. Don't know if Jr can beat him, especially since Oscar looked very weight drained against Manny. But it would be more competitive than most would think, at least IMO.

I really don't think DLH should be fighting anymore. Even if he were to take a fight with JCC, he won't win. Chavez Jr. has more incentive on avenging his father, than DLH winning.

It makes sense for a farewell fight for Oscar and it would probably sell prety good, but personally I don't really wanna see it. So I could care less whether the fight is made or not.

If De La Hoya wants to fight again i think he should take this fight, would be a big fight because of the history and the names. Could really build this feud up aswell as baby Chavez looks for revenge for his farther. And it would probaly be at 154 De La Hoya really weight were he wound't be weight drained because if you at his fights before Forbes and Pac-Man he looked really good at 154 he destroyed Mayorga and took at the time p4p1 Floyd Mayweather to a very close decision. And i think Chavez Jr is showing potential but i think would have a lot faults Oscar would exploit to get a victory. But who knows after the beating Oscar took if has got anything left?

No one would buy the PPV. It's completely pointless fight for DLH, even if he wins it, what would it do for him?

He beat a young untested fighter or got beaten by a young untested fighter.
You wanna know why this would be a big fight....De La Hoya Vs Chavez...it's all in the names baby!!! sure this fight as a boxing match would probaly be worth about the same as a wet fart...but as a side show and as a means of making some green...this "fight" would be big...

DLH has nothing left. He can't pull the trigger. JCC Jr gives him a beating at this point.

It's probably the best fight that can be made for Oscar at this point in terms of money, interest and a fight he can win.
