But hey would have never seen how good he really was agaisn't other good Fighters. That why you fight against the top fighter so that your legacy is sealed. Look at Prince Haseem. Everybody thought he was great and whoo whoo. But then he fought another great fighter and look what happen. He has all the skills, but another great fighter can expose you to see if you really were great or not. Any good boxer can beat tomato cans, but a great one can beat the other greats.

Ali would not be regarded as highly as he is, if he did not fight top tier competition the way he did... beating and winning against nobodies does not mean you have great boxing ability.. it means you can beat nobodies... beating top tier competition throughout your entire career means you are top 10 p4per... had ALI not fought the competition he did, he wouldnt of been regarded so highly... its half of what made him an atg
