First of all he got hit in the groin and he was weight drained at lighter weights. He has been hit by flush shots from Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Dlh and never shown a sign of really being hurt his chin is very good. And Pac man is a much more polished fighter who is showing lots of power now. He will be a f****** monster at 140. Valero is not a bum he is solid but his chin up in the air brawling style will get him knocked out against Pacman. Peace

Just got the recent issue of SI-latino and it has a great article on Edwin Valero.

It says Valero worked any job he could as a kid and had to leave school at 13. He loved getting in fights and supposedly has teeth marks on his nuckles. And that he spend 7 months in jail and if he wasn't under 18 at the time he'd have gotten 15 years for stealing motorcycles.

And that Valero started out particing the martial arts and paid for classes. Then he found out about boxing and told his brothers it was free and Valero was hooked son after. Then almost as quick he asked him mom if he could live at the gym cared by his coach, but Valero says he cared for himself as proof he side tracked when he stole the m-bikes and his coach had a serious talk to him about boxing.

And that it was Bojados old amature trainer and Delahoyas Dad, that brought him over to the states.

Then of course as we all know he went to Japan after he wasn't mediclly cleared to fight in the usa.

But the article said that there having a very hard time to find sparring partners for Valero because he keeps knocking them out. And that he wants to fight Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez so he moved up in weight.

We know how the Pac fans fear any talk of Pac v. Valero. So that leaves Marquez v. Valero and thats going to be a great fight once Valero starts fighting in the us.

Valero was knockdown by Mosquera, not known for speed and power. Pac is known for that. Pac's skills is not the best but he has worked on it.

Pac was already a 2 weight division title holder when he fought MAB.

Since hearing the news that Texas give the go signal for Valero to fight, I have been waiting for a Valero fight to happen. I am still waiting.

About the metal plate, MAB was cleared by Texas to fight. Its not Pac's fault MAB has a metal plate.

I love how no matter what, haters will try to discredit a fighter's win by saying they need to fight someone new. Bottom line: Valero ain't **** compared to Pacquiao or Juan Mnuel Marquez. Both of them are world class fighters and the only chance Valero has is a puncher's chance, and even then it's pretty slim.
