He's only 21 years old, He's a southpaw, he's 16-0 with 9 KOs. He's from St Louis and i think he hangs out with Corey Spinks or he's a protege of Coreys. He also whipped Demarcus Corleys ass which impressed me for someone so young. Demarcus is past his best but still he impressed me for being so young and really whippin Corley like that.

        I'm not sure.

I'm not sold on Berto just yet, he has looked good so far. But he hasn't fought any top Welterweights, or even any Top 10. I think most top guys would beat him right now, i'd like to see him in with someone like Luis Collazo, to asses his true potential.

I've never actually seen him fight, but I know he had an extended layoff because Don King just wasn't giving him fights and he was extremely unhappy about it. Dan Rafael is high on him as a prospect and ranted about it in a column not too long ago.

Yeah He hasn't fought since March which is what Rafael was ranting about.

I saw him fight live against Corley and he was pretty impressive. I believe he also fought on ESPN once. Kevin Cunningham is his trainer (ex-Spinks trainer, Spinks recently split with him, then lost). I don't think he pals around with Spinks anymore, but I could be wrong.

He's pretty short so hopefully he works on his power. There aren't too many short pure boxers. Hope he wins tonight.

Devon Alexander...I remember him because of his last name...if I remember correctly he was in an undercard fight with DeMarcus Corley, right? He was on the undercard for Trinidad-Jones.

He fought Demarcus Corely on the undercard of Jones-Trinidad and looked pretty damn good. It's a shame he's a King prospect seeing as how they never fight.

Yea he had a pretty long lay off until last month when he fought on the Don King card in China (against some joker). He fights again tonight on the undercard of the Cunningham-Adamek fight, I do not know if his fight will be on TV part of the show but I certainly hope it is!

He is very high in the rankings at 140 already, I was thinking last night about what fighter he should step up against but was drawing a blank.

I really do not think it is a power issue with Alexander, because I have seen him get guys in trouble then not go for the kill. I do not want to say he lacks a certain killer instinct but that is my main concern with him.
