  • do you cry when you see a beatdown?

to be honest i shed a tear or two in the jones/calzaghe and pac/goldenboy fights

funny thing is i was both rooting for the winners

You never wanna see two legends go out like that...I don't blame you.

I didn't condone the DLH fight, but watching him go out like that was tough. The guy has had a great career and has fought the best, but that's the **** he's gonna get remembered for. **** that.

Nah, I don't cry. no way. I do feel sorry for some fighters at times, though.

Whatever. Anytime they're in the ring they gotta expect the worst to happen at any time.

            I enjoy watching a beatdown

            but Roy vs Cal

            and Oscar vs Pac

were just sad fights to watch, both guys are legends and they looked like shells of their former selves in the fight

no, not really.. boxing is an emotional sport.
ask your boy Floyd.. he was bawling after the Baldomir fight.
Fighters cry when they win, some cry when they lose, sometimes
the fans share their joy and frustration.. boxing is an emotional sport.

I've never cried but felt like I wanted to a couple of times.. mainly when, like others said, an aging legend gets a beat down.

I agree with this, although I don't cry, I understand why some people might.
