Pwill has had a couple of solid wins in Quintana and Margarito and sucessful moves up in weight also. IMO there is alot to get excited about. We can say the same about Margarito's solid wins also, Cotto and Cintron twice. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch Margarito and Cotto fight and I have grown into a pretty solid fan of both....but out of those three I think Cotto has the better resume and Margarito's is no better than Pwill's.

for me, its all about hypocrisy... money marg is doing the same thing that more popular fighters were doing to him. all his whining and crying was just fricken annoying and all his fans were crying and whining all the ****in time, it was like the internet was an echo chamber. imho money marg deserves the criticism and payback's a bich.

also, i still don't get how money marg is rated higher than pwill when pwill already beat him. the only way to settle it is if they fight again. honestly... pwill vs. money marg is the only real good fight at WW. I got money marg as favorite over cotto and shane.

dont' get me wrong, money marg is a very good fighter and as of right now I don't think anyone at WW can beat him except for Pwill. I gave money marg huge props for taking the pwill fight, that showed integrity. I gave money marg huge props for beating cotto, because I didn't think he could do it. I actually believe fighting mosley is a good career move for him when some say it's a dumb fight... he needs mosley's name on his resume.

now I've noticed that it's a movement of mostly fans of Mexican descent that favor Margarito for his RELENTLESS style and his non-stop PRESSURE.

I can care less what style a fighter has if he's a rival he's a rival, there's nothing more to it. But keep in mind alot of pwill hate lately is because he wants a free pass instead of working his way up. He's done nothing since margarito but loss his title in his first defense only to win it back. He crys no one wants to fight him, but not true. Margarito was avoided and all he did was keep racking up wins against ww's. pwill goes and fights average and below average fighters at higher weights then claims he will fight anyone in those divisions lol. It's like the wants absolutely nothing BUT a margarito fight. He just wants to cash in once. He bitches too much! Sounds like a teenage girl throwing a fit for her parents to buy her some high heels.

I'm sure there were Pwill fans around but not much talk about him before the Margarito fight and all the moves in weight divisions but he's caused a buzz lately. Personally I've liked the guy since I first saw him fight. Now because Mayweather retired doesn't mean that you seize to be a boxing fan. I'm sure that there are alot more Clottey, Berto, Collazo, Cintron fans around also but you got to pull for someone right?

I've like him as well. But you have to understand, there are people who are simply fans of a fighter and not the sport.

It happens with all the biggest names. DLH, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Gatti, etc.
