The real answer is Mitchell supposedly sparred with Hopkins many times back in the day...

Hopkins has become more defensive now adays though... So, that answer kind of sucks of yours. Hopkins has gotten better with age, atleast in my opinion.

That made no sense, can Byron Mitchell fight more then one style or some ****? Because I've seen a couple of Byron Mitchell fights and he fights nothing like Hopkins not even close. Calzaghe was able to hit Mitchell at will... So why the hell did Pavlik spar with Mitchell before fighting Hopkins?

Could have chosen a better fighter for a sparring match, not a guy who comes out of retirement and has looked like crap against richard hall. B Mitchell looked good in his last fight against an opponent who lost over 30 times
