Exclusive Interview with Floyd Mayweather Sr. about his son coming out of retirement and fighting the #1 P4P Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao
NY: Floyd there's been rumors coming out that your son is coming out of retirement to face Manny Pacquiao who recently just defeated the great Oscar Dela Hoya?
FM: Well let me tell you this. I said this before and I'll say it again if Oscar picked me to train him we won't even have this discussion about my son fighting Pacquiao. Because if I was the trainer we both know who shoulda won, and that is Oscar. Now about my son coming out of retirement i dont fuucking know! some of my relatives said he contacted them and is interested. They also told me that he wants me to train him. If he wants me to train him then that's what i will do. But he hasn't called me so i dont know. He's confused he don't know if he should stay retire or not.
NY: Do you think that there's a possibility that this will really happen? and if so would it be a great thing for u that u will be the one to train floyd jr?
FM: It don't matter if I train Floyd jr or Hatton to fight Pacquiao because Pacquiao is going to lose either way. Floyd has more boxing Hatton will just hurt Pacquiao and bully him all through out. I dont see pacquiao winning to both of those guys. But i would like Ricky to fight two more fights so I can get to feel him more.
NY: Ok Floyd it seems that you are really sure to get a victory over Pacquiao who is a great fighter.
FM: Why not? This mother****a ain't got shiet. But let me tell you this. I dont know if my son Floyd Jr. will fight him. I think Floyd is scared of losing. But he doesn't have too. What's Pacquiao got? 1,2 straight left, bob weave, move side to side. that's it. FLoyd Jr can do everything he's my son and i taught him that. Floyd Jr shouldn't worry, but that is again if he picks me to train him.
NY: Good point but as we all know Pacquiao is evolving and getting more and more of a complete great fighter. What would be your objective to beat a guy like that, he just beat Dela Hoya easy.
FM: Are you listening to what I said? He ain't got nothing for Floyd Jr. or Hatton. Fight looked fixed. But if I was there like what I said it would be a different out come and we won't have this discussion.
NY: Thanks for your time Floyd.
FM: No problem, make sure you listen carefully next time so it won't be a waste for mine. I'm the best of the best so you betta make it the best.
