Micky Ward without a doubt. Micky Ward has to be one of the most overrated fighters ever. His best wins are Arturo Gatti and Emmanuel Augustus. Guess what? Both of those fights a lot of people thought he lost.

Then what are his best wins? He's a very exciting fighter, but good on the terms of top 10, he was not. Well maybe top 10 in the early 2000s or late 90s, but really...he was garbage

I think its unfair calling them bums, Gatti's boxing ability was under rated, was he world class? No not talent wise but heart and desire yes he was.

As for Ward is a working class hero end of.

Not everyone can be flash and brash like the Mayweather's of this world but without the likes of Gatti and Ward boxing would be dead.

Obviously you have never stepped into a ring and know what you have to go through. You have no right calling anyone a bum anyone who steps through the ropes deserves respect.

Terrible thread. Gatti had a great deal of talent. Go and watch his two fights against Patterson for the IBF 130 pound title. Two extremely good boxing displays against a very accomplished champion.
