i have never really posted before but ive read about most posts over the past 2 years.The thing i feel i have to respond to is all the idiots jumping on the pac train.....yeah he is a great boxer but saying he should be fighting the likes of mayweather,marg,cotto are totally way off the mark and bad for the sport.Yes he did a job on dlh but that was dlh in name only....that could have been any journeyman boxer or bum he was fighting with the performance he put up....and suddenly pacman should be fighting legitimate welters at the top of their game..Oscar still looked massive against pacman and the likes of cotto or marg would seriously have the ability to cause some serious damage.
Pac should fight no higher than light welter tops against the elite of the game.

I do agree that too many people jump on a bandwagon when a fighter beats someone of respect...

its happened so many times before (when pavlik beat taylor, when williams beat margarito, when margarito beat cotto, etc.) and thats just recently.

I've always said i think pacman should never fight margarito because he can get seriously hurt but incase you didnt know miguel cotto is ONLY an inch taller than pacman and their reach is EXACTLY the same.

So how is pacman at a big disadvantage?

or even against mayweather who is only an in and a half taller and only 5 inches longer in reach?

Like i said i agree that people made too much of pacman beating oscar especially considering his age and where he's at in the sport these days but i've said for TWO YEARS now that pacman should fight mayweather as he has a very good chance at being some of the most legit competition mayweather has ever had...

pacmans ideal weight category is imo lightweight, he has the right height and reach to still be competitive with his physical dimensions and his punching power is suited to that weight class as well.

yes the likes of cotto and mayweather are not that much taller than him but they are both alot bigger, both are alot more thicker set and both are therefore alot strongr and bigger punchers.

dont forget pacman has looked hurt at times vs fighters like JMM, guys who are below lightweight so imagine what someone like mayweather or cotto would do to him if they hit him even with a scuffing shot.

pacman should be fine at jnr WW at the highest but above that then he is putting himslef t serious risk of injury. yes he has a W at WW but thats against an over the hill fighter in a clown fight, not a real fight. yes he has defeated DLH but anyone who say DLH on the night and how sloppy he was wouldn't have been surprised if someone like JMM had done the same.

imo pacman will/should now be a jnr WW, he has no business going any higher than that.

seriously though, why shouldn't Pacquiao keep going up as long as he can? if he gets beat by a bigger guy, who gives a ****? he's not undefeated so he has nothing to lose. I think he should keep moving up as long as he can, but I do think he should fight Hatton just to be the man at 140
