i think it's pretty likely that Mayweather will return for the Hatton - Pacman winner

It is all speculation, but if the demand for the fight builds enough (which to me it seems like it easily could) there is probably enough money to make it happean slightly down the road. Really this fight has only been realisticly though about for 4 or 5 days and look at the excitement the idea has caused, as time passes the idea should gain steam, especially if Pacman beats Hatton (I think there would be a roar for this fight to happean as opposed to the whispers right now).

But Mayweather already whooped on Hatton. So in theory, if Hatton wins...then what's in it for "Pretty Boy?"

Hatton and Mayweather can't fight again. They've got the same trainer.

For all we know, Pacquiao could retire tomorrow.
there has been a few rumors from floyd's family but its all rumors and speculation for the time being.

I think it has some potential and COULD turn into a real bout in 09 but nothing is set in stone yet. I think it has more promise than some of the other allegations of mayweather's return against other opponents.

Nah Floyd has Roger to train him still, and Ricky has wanted a rematch so to me beating Pacman is the best way to make that rematch occur. I think Floyd could roll out of bed on any day and defeat Hatton but some people think differently (if he manages to defeat Pacman people would give him a much better shot also I reckon and Floyd would have been off for 2 years so who knows how that effects him, aslong as Joe Cortez was not the ref LOL).

                  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

don't think the hype machine won't go into overdrive again and get a few poor casuals thinking Ricky has a legitimate shot at winning

although i'm sure plan A is based around a Pac win
