I noticed that big time too. It was near the end of the 8th round. But i think if DLH stayed in there, Pacquiao would have eventually knocked him out.

I think he was giving DLH a chance to fight back so Pacquiao could knock him out. David Daiz was fighting back, so that's why Pacquiao did what he had to do.

I told everyone Pacquiao was gonna absolutely destroy DLH. Unfortunately all i bet was $20.

This is a good vid and while I don't doubt for a second the Pac is humble and a real cool kat...I highly doubt that he did this out of "pitty" for his Idol...I just think that he knew that DLH could pull a left hook out of nowhere and he was weary of that...

Maybe it was a combination of both. Caution and mercy. Pacquiao knew he had him though.

My favorite Pacman fight, is David Diaz vs. Pacquiao. And you can't say Diaz is a nobody, because statistcally he put up a much better fight than DLH. And he was younger and lighter than DLH.
