You're telling me that Sergio Medina prefered to fight with a death threat knowing that by some strange coinsidense he could of made it to the 2nd round . And then what? Anything can be true but I think he was petrified and choked and now he has an excuse.

this is SO bad for boxing.,

that UNDERCARD will go down in history as being
        the worst of all time.

what a scam, it gonna end up costing about $67 with tax.

this guy contributed to the worst undercard ever ?

        does anyone disagree ?

I watched it live and my initial reaction to the fight was that the punches were not even landing, they were half blocked. His legs were never even wobbly at all. He definately took a dive but for whatever reason we may never know.

If he seriously was threatened why did he wait until today to reveal that? I imagine he would want to wait until he got out of America first buy why wait until now.

                what don't you get ?

the undercard was so so garbage, the entire cards was a bunch
of mismatches, and the PPV was premium priced.

this guy was already part of the worst undercard ever,
and now he's dragging out the misery.

all this story does is remind me of how bad the public was ripped-off.

maybe he's telling the truth, but how does medina benefit from
                this investigation ?

Well, I guess that makes sense then. I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I think the story is halfway believable. He obviously threw the fight, I doubt he was that big of a coward to get hit on the gloves a few times and quit. It just sounds like it could be true if you actually watched the fight. I guess it does not matter in the end though, I doubt medina would had any chance to win the fight at all anyways. But eventually if the statement is true and they are threatening boxers with their life then it will come back on them as soon as someone is smart enough not to take it.
