This fight is on the undercard of the Cunningham-Adamek fight and could turn out to be a nice little man brawl. Both guys have solid knockout percents especially when you consider that they are 118 pound fighters.
When I saw Agbeko win his strap I though he was a pretty good little fighter and had been looking for a fight from him even since. The long layoff might hurt him along with the fact that he had malaria recently (I think it was malaria anyways, I know he had some messed up disease).
William Gonzales has had most of his fight in Central America and lost to the most well known names he has fought (Ricardo Cordoba but this fight was very early in his career and Jhonny Gonzales in his only fight in the US both were on stoppages). For an unknown guy from Nicaragua, that has fought almost exclusively in Central America he has fought some decent opposition and the Jhonny Gonzales loss was over 3 years ago so maybe he is ready to shine now.
Anyone have any thoughts on this fight, I think Gonzales will pull it out with a stoppage in the second half of the fight, the layoff/ringrust will be to much for Abgeko to overcome.
