By Brent Matteo Alderson - Fight photographer Paul Hernandez compared it to Foreman-Lyle in 1976 while another beat writer made a reference to Bowe-Golota II, and Nigel Collins of The Ring said it was a “hell of a lot of fun to watch.” Plain and simple, the November 29th fight between Chris Arreola and Travis Walker was heavyweight armageddon, an exciting brawl with an ebon-flow and multiple knockdowns and deserves to be considered as a candidate for the fight of the year. Areola has the potential to be a solid champ,.. just has to make personal decision to do better,.. he hits hard enough to do serious damage to both Klit brothers,.. but he has to drop the extra baggage so he'll be mobile enough.

I was kinda dismayed that "Arreola just couldn't get motivated for this fight" as the article stated. How the hell do you not get motivated for one of the biggest fights in your burgeoning career? In fact, his lack of motivation almost cost him the fight as Walker was close to winning...

I was disappointed in Arreola for coming in overweight, but it sure was an exciting fight!
Chris has talent, but needs to get himself in better shape, or he won't stand a chance against the top heavyweights.

To be honest I don’t think he is that great even when he is in shape. He lacks head movement is slow on his feet and throws slow punches. Both Klits would beat him as Arreola is very open to the jab. An interesting fight would be Arreola vs Povetkin.
