That was not a one sided beatdown. Morales was doing very well in the early rounds, but got worn down.

You said the underdog beating the favorite in your first post. Diaz was the underdog in that fight.

He does have 3 though, and adding Diaz to that list kind of tarnishes it, because the 3 that are actually on there are just so beyond expectations, it's absurd.

How was that an ass whooping?

        Wasn't Morales up 4 to 1 on Lederman's scorecard after 5?

There has NEVER been an ass whooping where the guy getting his ass kicked is up 4 to 1 on any objective observer's scorecard. Never.

Based on this, I don't think anybody expected a one-sided beatdown. Did you? I don't think Morales, Barrera or Marquez could give Diaz the same ass whooping. Oh, make that Barrera and Marquez, Diaz beat Morales

And the British commentators had it even by the end of six.
            What's your point?
It doesn't matter if Erik was winning 4 to 1 or 5 to, 100 to 100 by some guy, his face got rearranged and he got stopped.
            Nobody expected that to happen!

How nice... always have to throw in that one **** comment.

I had never seen Diaz, so I had literally 0 idea what would happen, but... a lot of people on here, even pre-fight said that Pacquiao was going to whoop him.

I was a bit worried for Pacquiao, just because he was moving up, but Diaz is not a puncher at all, so... I guess it really should not have been that surprising.

If that is all it takes for you to consider someone beat down... you have a really low threshold.

Was Margarito-Cotto a one-sided beatdown? It looked like Cotto's side had a lot of good moments, even if hisf ace did get rearranged and he got stopped.

Did I say pac vs Morales was a one sided-beatdown.
I said he got his as$ whooped........................brutally and nobody expected that except Manny P(the poster).
I had Morales winning rnds. 3,4 and 5...same like the british commentators.

yeah, just like everyone expected Gatti to give Mayweather a fight? Pacman was moving up in weight, everyone knew he'd KO or win by UD against Diaz, but a one-sided beatdown? I don't think so. Guzman with all his speed would find it hard to do a beatdown on Diaz.

Morales/Pac 2 was a pretty one sided beat down in the end. It was even early on with Morales edging out some rounds, but come on... From the 6th on Manny beat the career out of the legend. It was brutal.
