Is Floyd Mayweather taking a risk fighting Pacquiao?

Mayweather's fans get angry when you mention that he plays it "safe". So I ask.. Is Floyd really taking a risk fighting Pacquiao?

Let's look at a side by side comparison.

    Manny Pacquiao..................Floyd Mayweather
    initial fighting weight:
    Flyweight........................................s uper featherweight

    @ age 21:
    Flyweight......................................... .super featherweight

    divisions
    fought in:

    Flyweight......................................... ...........Super Featherweight
    Super bantamweight (jumped bantam.........................Lightweight
    & super flyweight)........................................ .....Jr. Welterweight
    featherweight..................................... .................Welterweight
    super featherweight..................................... ......Jr. Middleweight
    lightweight
    welterweight

If Manny Pacquiao fights Mayweather he will be fighting him at Jr. Welter he will be fighting him 8 weight classes from his initial start weight. If he fights him at lightweight it will be 7.

Mayweather will be fighting him 3 weight classes from his initial start weight or 2.

So I ask, is this really a risk for Mayweather? Considering the size of both of them and the time spent in each division. People are saying they "are the same size" because of what weight they come in on fight night.. Oscar came in lighter then Pacquiao did for their fight and that didn't make him the smaller man.

At best Manny Pacquiao is a Super Featherweight and at best Mayweather is a Welter... or Jr. Welter (according to some of his fan boys)

Sin, Thank you for using this comparison.
Because I think I am going to use this comparison in Floyd's Favor
    against Other fighters....lol

    be serious.

Why is ok for other fighters to fight smaller fighters or fighters their own size but not ok for floyd to fight a fight his own size or smaller?
why does mayweather always has to be at disadvantage?

Would you be outrage if Floyd (4th division)
    fought Paul Williams
Would you be outrage if Floyd(4th division)
    fought Margarito
Would you be outrage if Floyd (4th division)
    fought Forrest
Would you be outrage if Floyd (4th division)
    fought Felix Sturm

The truth of the matter is that Pacquaio and Floyd both transcend Weight Divisions, Neither of them belong to one division because they are so good.
They are not going to do a joe calzaghe and fight at supermiddle weight for 15 years.... They transcend weight division.

No opinion is that Paul and Manny are the two fighters who'd give Mayweather the most trouble. So yes...this is a risk.

Floyd I don't think has any business fighting Forrest, Sturm or Williams ( I don't even thinki Williams belongs at welter but since people put him there I add his name to the list.)
Margarito has been a welterweight his whole career so the size difference isn't as disproportionate as Pacquiao vs. Mayweather. Miguel Cotto isn't either.. only two weight classes from their initial start. Many including Mosley and De La Hoya started around the same division Mayweather did and are fighting at welter.
I see no problem with Pacquiao fighting at super featherweight (his 4th division) just like I see no problem for Floyd fighting at Welter so what is your point?

Now one is trying to discredit him wtf? If he would fight the best in his division no one would have nothing to say, period. But he doesn't.. and he is fighting a much smaller guy and that is why we know he doesn't take risks... No Ifs ands or buts about it.

Taking risk is him moving up weights to fight Kelly Pavlik or Arthur abraham.
