Pac will be 30 years old in 8 days so he is also past his prime IMO. Pac is still a beast and will KO Hatton if they fight. I just hope after that fight he stays at 130-135 ( for no more than a year or two) or just retires after his next fight as a top 50 all time great.

Amazing that a 30 year old 106lb fighter could so brutally own a 154lb pinata who had hand picked belts in 6 divisions.

Oscar, if anything, never had anything "handpicked". Dude handpicked tito, bernard, vargas, chavez, whitaker, paez, quartey, mosley etc?

I think not. If those guys are handpicked, what would you call david diaz? Be reasonable.

nah but he isnt gonna take the real challenging fights in which he has a lot to lose....he is gonna take hatton(who is more reward for the same or even less risk).....

if hatton cant take pacs punches, pac is gonna **** him.....if ricky can, i believe he has the footspeed to get close to pacquiao and just maul him.......pac has looked to be soft when things get rough.....when he is being mauled, and the opponent makes him go straight backwards....like against sanchez marquez and morales...

Losing to the best fighters he fought just proves my point more, and beating up old shot men is not impressive at all. Oscar is a fake champion.

if oscar beat up old shot men and is a fake champion, then that would make pacs win against an old shot fake champion pretty meaningless wouldnt it? What is pacman doing fighting shot, fake, handpicked champions? Is Sven Ottke next for pacman?

Also, i forgot to mention Ruelas, i guess he was handpicked also. Likely youll google it, but let me tell you, Ruelas was the first fight where people knew oscar was likely for real, it was also, in my opinion, his first real rival.

A 106lb fighter owing a 154lb fighter who is 1/2 a foot taller is still impressive. The way pac just destroyed him winning every second of every round makes it even more impressive. And Oscar quitting like a ***** in 8 is the icing on the cake.

Hey, it was a spectacular performance, but you shouldn't exaggerate. Pac started his career at 106 waaay back when he was only 16. On Saturday, he was 1.5lbs heavier than Oscar. Oscar himself started at a much lower weight, too.

I'm all for giving Manny his credit, but you shouldn't go overboard and exaggerate every small point, it only gives Pacquiao fans a bad name. Manny has grown a hell of a lot since 14 years ago.

                Oh, and Oscar isn't 6 inches taller, he's a 4 inches taller.

So where does that rank Rustico Torrecampo for stopping him? Fights at pacs teenage weight mean very little to me, the wins and the losses what counts to me is where he grew into his weight, which to me is 126.

That was a blow to me, but it was apparent very quickly that Ruelas was in trouble. But what Tszyu did to him was brutal.

But it's not a good time to argue against Pac fans, not a knock on them but a lot of them are here exclusively for and because of Pacquiao so it will take a while for them to have a better understanding of boxing and more knowledge of past fights. There are some very knowledgeable Pac fan posters but like a big superstar from a country that does not traditionally have big superstars will always do, he brings in a lot of guys who are new to the sport.
