I know, it kind of pissed me off.

Had the ref not stepped in, I think Ricardo could have stopped him in that 11th round anyways.

Coming into the 11th round I had it scored 9-1 with a knockdown in 6th of Torres. So 99-91. In the 11th round Holt was knocked down, and Torres was prior to that but it was not scored. He held onto the ropes to stop him from falling. After this Holt looked tired. Then the ref did abnormal break allowing Torres to press on into a flurry without warning which led to a Torres landing 3 punches in the corner. The stoppage was pretty bad. The fight was pretty bad overall too, Torres did not press the action and kept his distance with Holt. Which is most likely why he came out like he did in the 2nd fight, but backfired. Conditions were bad too Ricardo's corner was wet and several times he needed extra time after the bell sounded. And in the last seconds of fight drinks came flying into the ring.

Holt's punch in the 6th THAT dropped Torres was better though. It was slick too.

Hard to say what would've happened had it continued. Holt was in retreat mode.
