    Fighter of the year 2008

Now, who's the fighter of the year 2008?

    Margarito?
    Pacquiao?
    Mosely?
    Paul Williams?
    Chad Dawson?
    Bernard Hopkins?
    Nonito Donaire?
    Israel Vasquez?
    Brain Vera? lol

Personally i think it's a toss up between Pacquiao and Bernard Hopkins.

Pacquiao because of all the fights he's been for 2008. He's a full time fighter who's starting to develop his craft with suck precision. Lighting fast, agile....southpaw. Plus, ending the year with embarassing the Golden Boy.
FYI: Oscar De La Hoya never ever in his career has gotten an ass whoopin like that before.

Hopkins because he's been in the game for a minute. He's triumphed over adversity. Taken negative and turned it into a positive. Fought Calzaghe better than Jones. O.G. triple O.G. And taking Pavlik to school was icing on the cake. I think whoopin on Pavlik is essential because B-hop showed the world that he can still compete at a high level despite his age.
FYI: Hopkins fought Calzaghe really really well. Calzaghe is a good fighter that's all. If Hopkins and Calzaghe fought in their late 20's or early 30's...hands down Hopkins would whoop on him.

He won big fights in 3 different weight classes.. 2 of which he'd never fought in before. All fights against world champions or former world champions.

            Pacquiao

            Margarito

            Hopkins

But Margarito's win is probably the biggest.

Pacquiao fought 3 times this year.

JMM, Daiz, and DLH.....was Barerra this year or last? I think it was last.

                Yes. Either Pacquiao or Hopkins.

So can someone tell me, why come Calzaghe doesn't get any credit or recognition still? He whooped on Jones and on Hopkins. Well, whooped on Jones to be more exact.
