  • De La Hoya is so gracious in defeat

Everyone was asking him if he was weight drained or shot and he just replied Manny is a great fighter. It's a pretty rare thing to see these days.

Well he made 20+ million dollars to quit on his stool. Who cares how gracious he was?

The leather in the interior of one of his Escalades was poisoned, GM wanted to screw him over for not bailing them out.

I don't know about that but the hair line fracture in his left eye probably hurt and prevented him from seeing those lightinging fast straight left hands comig in...Lefty

He has always lost with dignity, granted he did moan about the judges after the Mosley fights, but has maintained his friendship with Shane.

He could have used the weight as an excuse, its what many of the boxing fraternity were thinking, yet he just let Manny have his moment untarnished! True gent!

This is what i'm talking about. Boxing is a gentleman's sport. De La Hoya got beat. In fact, he got beat down. No excuses, no conspiracy theories. Pacquiao just got him and De La Hoya didn't have an answer.

I think a lot of it had to do with Freddie Roach. Trainers know weaknesses, especially if they're training you. They set up De La Hoya from jump street.

De La Hoya has always had class.
