it'll be great for a W over pacquiao for floyd's legacy.

i don't think an L to floyd would hurt manny's legacy though.

Beating Pacquiao wouldn't do anything for his Legacy imo.

        He's supposed to beat Pacquiao.

It's how he beats him that can do something for him.

I agree that hes suppose to beat him but considering pac is #1 p4p...you would think it would be a big win.

I'd like to see it at 147 but it seems like roach wants it at a catchweight under 147. The only thing I could see it doing for his legacy is a former #1 p4p fighting the new #1 p4p fighter to see whose really the best and that would just be icing in my opinion. But if you think about it Manny is a big name even more so after last sat.. Pac is a good start and then the winner of Cotto/Margarito and that would be it. If Pwill ever gets another chance to fight a big name and build his stock Floyd should fight him and then retire...Legacy sealed!

It would make him a lot richer, but I ain't sure it would do anything for his legacy unless he fought a top WW before or after. That's the one thing that keeps him from bein universally respected imo. His other accomplishments are always gonna be overlooked and he'll be remembered as a ducker til he takes out one of the top WW's.

Of course it would boost his legacy. His legacy has already been diminished after pac beat a shot dlh in a more decisive manner and if pac were to beat hatton it would further diminish it. There are many people saying that pac has already surpassed Mayweather so beating him could solidify his spot

Exactly but if he can pot shot Manny all Night and sorta gatti/baldo him it will make Mayweather appear to be on a level FAR GREATER than anyone has put him.

It will be up to cotto and margo and/or pWill to do great stuff to lure him out..
