for me personally, i think margarito is too much for him. his work rate, chin and stamina > slick and defensive style of floyd

i do think mayweather is afraid of margarito, he ducked him when they offered him a fight. and why would you retire when you're only 30 y/o? i mean the welter weight right now is hot and he's got the perfect chance to better his 'legacy'. fights like marg-floyd, williams-floyd, cotto-floyd, pacman-floyd are all ******ic and would validate this statement from him

The way Floyd fights now; have to favor Margarito. The way he fought at lightweight against Chico; all Mayweather. The difference: Against Chico he moved his feet, danced, used his jab, combos, mixed up his punches, had head-movement, didn't stand in one place, gave angles, volume of punches...NOW: stands still for most of the fight; occasionally runs away; up against the ropes to much; pot-shots; rarely uses his jab; waits to long to start fighting; doesn't fight with a lot of confidence.

To me, and I'm hoping; it's choice with Floyd to fight this way instead of a decline in physical ability.

Oscar wasn't landing "points" unless you count hitting the gloves. Some do; they say at least it is something...its aggressiveness.
But if we had paint on their gloves, say blue; Floyd would look like a cartoon character with swelled up hands, and Oscar, a smurf.

To be honest, I'm not sold on Floyd's stamina anymore. He had great stamina at one time but he hasn't shown it in his past two fights. Yes, it could still be there obviously, but he isn't using it.
