Manny doesn't have the style to beat a defensive Mayweather!
Manny doesn't even have real boxing skill, his most deadly weapon is a jab jab followed by a very straight and fast left! Other than that he is a lopsided all over the place wild puncher, the only reason he gets so many right where he wants them is because they are either old and done or don't have much of a defense to see the obvious attack coming.
Mayweather has proven time and time again that it's defense that wins the fights and gives you the openings. Mayweather has the best defense I have seen sense watching Mike Tyson and his elusiveness of the 80's, he simply can't be touched let alone hurt. Why in the hell do you think he has a nick name like pretty boy???
It is obvious when Manny comes in with the same punches over and over that he will eventually get figured out and start to eat allot of counter punches. Barrera actually did figure him out but the size of the fight in Barrera was long gone and his determination to utilize his findings was demolished along with his skill level. A younger Barrera would have finished Manny very quick.
Don't get me wrong Manny is a decent boxer but hasn't really faced a top contender at his best to challenge his eliteness. Mayweather would be more than Manny can punch at and would soon realize that a finisher who is aware will not only counter him but finish the job.
Manny is deceptive to counter punches and because of his awkwardness and off balance situations that he throws himself into when he gets caught with a counter it really hurts him, too bad he hasn't faced anyone in shape enough to realize that and finish the job. Mayweather and his elusiveness will show to be the best maneuver to finding an opening for a counter, this is something Manny wont be able to cope with and the more Mayweather sticks them into Manny's face and body the more we will see Manny throwing the same punch one after another just like his cheap *** wanna be Trainer Freddy Roach has taught him to do.
In the famous words of Mike Tyson, "Freddy is a **** of a trainer, I could do better than what he does!"
It is the reason Manny is stuck in the same position he started out in, he is just a quick puncher and relentless with allot of heart and honor, but lacks big time in general skill and defense.
