Time to clear the air about DLH

As you all know I'm not the biggest DLH fan, but I will admit now Manny has punched him into retirement that he had a good career. Is he an ATG? well.....the quality of competition he fought was great so I'd say him resume is clearly ATG but unfortunately he didn't win his biggest fights which will forever put him a notch below the best of his era. Win or lose he did fight the best and you can't fault a guy for having the guts to fight the best of his generation even if they were sometimes naturally 2-3 weight classes below his and he forced them to come to his weight. But enough of my praise for DLH, let's all appreciate the true ATG Pacquiao who is now the greatest pinoy and maybe the greatest Asian fighter ever.

DLH was a very good fighter in his prime, and even a pretty good fighter when he was past his prime, he has kept boxing in the public eye for a long time so I think boxing will miss him for a while.

Well I respect him for wanting to fight the world's best, but I don't respect him for picking on smaller men so many times and hearing his fans say it's a dangerous fight and all that crap.

Yeah, even in the 90's i wasn't a huge DLH fan. I knew about him, but i was like he's aiite. His style never amazed me. De La Hoya put up a good fight throughout his career. His personality outside of the ring is superb, which is why i probably have a lot of respect for him. But as a fighter, he's aiite.

            Pacquiao retired:

            Morales
            Barerra
            De La Hoya

Greatest Pinoy fighter is "Flash" Elorde...who happens to be Nonito Donaire's grandfather....or "Lolo" as we say in our language. "Flash" used to fight in SF sometime in the 60's or something. He was a Flyweight or bantamweight i think

GOAT pinoy is Manny hands down, "flash" has a good resume but Pac has beaten every elite fighter he's faced.
