Go ask Campbell why Marquez should shun Guzman. Bet he'll say that to make the necessary investment of time (and therefore money) to train plus free up Marquez' schedule for an opponent that is quite likely to leave him in the lurch (as Guzman has done to 3 count-em' 3 other fighters) would be a ****** thing to do. I'd guess that Guzman is gonna' have to spend some major time overcoming the poor impression he has made w/the upper tier camps and promoters to get fights anywhere near this magnitude.

Now Marquez/Campbell would be a fight I'd very much like to see. I'd just have trouble choosing who to root for as they are 2 of my favourites.

I don't think anyone can be criticized for "ducking" Guzman after the previous debacle.

To be fair, I've seen claims on both sides about Guzman's problems in carrying through with a fight. According to what I read , it was 3 times and doubts have been cast upon the circumstances of 2 of those. Ok? So, if you're Marquez and there have been two (or one) disputed broken fights and one obvious ****-up, do you offer this guy with no-belt and a small following a shot or do you shine him on?

Finally, Campbell would have eaten' Guzman's lunch and drank his milkshake for dessert.

I kinda' doubt it. Probably just a scheduling deal. Maybe Marquez was waiting to see what happened with Pac/DLH before commiting to a fight. Also, Campbell is (or recently completed) going through a bankruptcy, so mayhaps he doesn't want a megafight til' after he gets 100% free of DKP and whatever other creditors his lawyers are negotiating with.

That's ok though, you either don't know any better or you didn't think it through before you posted.

Those saying Marquez is ducking Campbell or Guzman seem to be new at boxing. Obviously Marquez wants a third fight against Pacquiao because he knows he can beat him. I really think he did two times, but the magnitude of money Pacs generates in his fights was enough to receive that controversial decision. Marquez is not ducking anyone, he deserves a third opportunity against Pacquiao since more that the half of the expert in the scene didn’t see Pacquiao win. I am not talking about Mexicans or haters, I am talking about experts.

Ah, so because he called Marquez out publicly, JMM is ****ing him then? But Pac isnt/wasnt right? Because Guzman has spent the past 4 years calling out Pac and Pac hasn't even entertained the thought. So by your logic, Pac is ALSO ducking him no? I'd love to hear your reasoning.

I think Pac was the one looking for bigger and stronger rock-solid abs, he went for a bigger and stronger guy. I don’t doubt that after feeling Oscar he will go for klitschko. Bitches like him never have enough, they always want something bigger.
