Forrest had months to prepare for Mosley...

Hopkins has a week. I think this might be a way for Holt to avenge those losses in the amateurs, because he will have had infinite more time to prepare for this fight.

Late replacement have a really ****ty track record in title fights.

Never been really impressed by D-Hopkins, he beat Holt in the amateurs? That is not a real biggy since this is not the amateurs and he hasn't looked good at all from my perspective.

        d hop

D Hop should win easy. His punching power is underrated. Holt is gonna lose on points. D hop has champion in his blood. Short reign for holt.

I just pray this isn't a Golden Boy Demetrius Hopkins type victory over Steve Forbes.

That's all I really ask from this, a fair decision.

Holt is maddening because he has power and speed, a somewhat shaky chin, but can at times not use his gifts.

If D-Hop beats him fine, but I want him to have earned it because D-Hop will get whoever he wants after if he wins.

I'm scared of that too if D-Hop gets a funny victory win like he did over Forbes... Clearly judges were paid off, no one is ****** to actually believe that D-Hop won that fight.

Hopkins was obviously training for another fight, so he should be in shape. He's just a tough style for Holt altogether. Holt is fast, but he doesn't set his punches up properly with a jab. He lunges a lot and against a guy like Hopkins who has range, that's a no-no. Hopkins' style is similar to Thomas Davis', who was the first gentleman to beat Holt.

Of course Holt is the favorite because of his power and that he has the title, I'm just saying this is not going to be easy.

Late replacements usually are at a disadvantage, but remember Holt is also having to adjust. He was expecting to fight a face-forward ****er. Now he's stuck fighting a rangy boxer with some skills. Two completely different styles.
