What's the point of Torres killing himself to get in the ring just to give a lackluster effort? Then we get to hear this ****ing board degrade Holt's win and Holt's fans ***** about Torres making excuses.

Fighters shouldn't step into the ring unless they feel they can give their very best or close to it. It is a disappointment, but the alternative (Torres being seriously hurt, bitching and excuses, etc) wasn't going to be any better.

I said this a year ago and I'll say it again, Juan Diaz can't beat Nate Campbell. Not now, atleast. He doesn't have the seasoning to get it done.

I'm pissed that the fight isn't going to be made, I had been looking forward to it for quite some time but this sucks. Then again i'm happy that Torres pulled out when he knew he couldn't give his best, I'm sure when the fight gets made he'll destroy Holt.

I dunno, he was looking pretty hot until he saw some blood.

Very well said. I'd rather have a cancellation leading to a sub fight rather than a dismal performance by Torres.

After their fight I got that feeling too. I have never been too high on Nate as a fighter, but something tells that at this point in time Campbell has the skill, will and experience to beat Diaz again, regardless of what Diaz does.

I think what happened was that Diaz found a guy who was rugged and wasn't going to be intimidated by his work rate. Campbell is just a grown ass man.

Yeah. I forget where I heard this (movie maybe), but somebody was talking about the guy who just has that natural older grown man strength. The guy who doesn't look like a killer necessarily, but just has that hidden strength that surprises you...yeah that was Campbell to Diaz.
