DeLaHoya Never Really wanted Trinidad II or Sturm II

Finally The Truth is out in the article "Fighting Words", "Hand picked opponents" "hand-selecting his foes but falling short against top-flight opponents","often holding out for the biggest events"
All about the money while making believe its about legacy, not fighting fighters as an excuse making believe its about the money...Finally its put out there. How did he give Trinidad 40% on his first fight(which is ok) but then turn around and say no to a 50/50 split and offer 30% on the second fight after a loss, when Hoya is already the richest fighter/promoter in the business. It wasnt about the money he knew that all the pressure of being macho against Trinidad would have made him have to trade with Trinidad or run for his life again and he would have been knocked out...because he didnt even have the legs to do what he did the first time. Sturm wasnt given a shot because he knew he would get knocked out too. (Money I think not). He had alot of people fooled but never me.

i think dlh did want the tito rematch (not the immediate one that is), but tito wouldn't come down in weight.

sturm is too big for dlh to beat
