Froch cracked rib before Pascal fight!

Just to let the Froch haters know, he fought the entire fight with a cracked rib, which nearly caused the fight to be called off. Not too bad, when you consider the fight to be a FOTY contender. Surely, some of you can give some credit to him for fighting aggresively, and not running the whole fight.

I mentioned this to my cousin in the first round, when i saw Froch clutching his beltline. He said he might be adjusting his shorts, which i agreed. Turns out he cracked a rib a week before the fight.

I give credit to both guys. I downloaded the fight last night and was very impressed. A really entertaining fight in which both guys showed a lot of great stuff.

I still don't give Froch much of a chance against Mikkel or JT though, particularly Kess. I would be surprised if he won more that 1 or 2 rounds against Kessler tbh. Andrade all over again.

At least Froch got a good win and showed chin and heart in doing so. We havent seen his full potential just yet.

I agree. Kessler and Taylor are the only two at 168 i see beating Froch, although i'm not sure they'd be the one side beat downs many posters suggest. I actually give Froch a small shot at beating Taylor.

Andrade would be the most intrigeing fight of all at SMW. Can you imagine two granite chins, huge hearts, both pressure fighters landing bombs on each other all night. My mouth waters at the thought. That would be my wish fight for Froch before landing the likes of Kessler or Taylor. At least it would be a step in the right direction.

I see Froch knocking Bute out. Similar to the Andrade fight, except Bute would be floored much earlier and would not get up. I would also like to see this fight before Kess or Taylor. The problem with the latter two, is Froch's reign could soon be over before it has begun. Against anyone else at 168 i see a Froch win.
