The last boxing event I paid for was Morales/Barrera III I think.

I understand your frustration though Godz. Oscar looks really bad after this past weekend.

Only get the fights that you KNOW will be good. The last one I paid for was Cotto vs Margarito and that was worth my money for sure (although I dont recall the undercards at all.) But I buy maybe one or two a year, because most fights with big names arent ment to be competetive. They are ment to make money. The best fights are usually the ones with lesser known fighters anyhow.

For the past 10 years of my life, I've shelled out hundreds, easily over a thousand dollars to support one of the 2 sports that I truly love. Paying for these "events" hoping for a good card, or AT LEAST a good main event, and very often getting one of these instead: (insert middle finger smilie) . I quit. Saturday's "event" was a complete joke from start to finish. The 3 undercard matches lasted a total of no more than 10 minutes, and they weren't even exciting. I expected that no matter who was to win, Pacquiao vs. De La Hoya was going to be a good matchup. I wasn't expecting a "dream match", just a good one. A good f.uck.ing boxing match was all I wanted to see. Like Roy Jones weeks earlier, it was clearly obvious that De La Hoya wanted nothing more than the millions of dollars to be made off of the event and his name. I'm glad it made Pacman more popular, because he deserves it. To cut to the chase, I'll never, ever pay for another boxing "event" again, not unless you can by some fu.cking miracle consistently put together solid and competitive cards that are WORTH your fans' hard earned dollars. Peace the f.uck out, the bad cards have far outweighed the good ones. My wallet and I are done with you.

            Sincerely,

            F.uck you

ps. Pacquiao will knock out Hatton early, and decisively beat Floyd Mayweather jr.
all boxing undercards are **** so what did u expect. i know i never expect much from them. if they end up being good than its a bonus. but i enjoyed the pacman-DLH main event and thats all that matters to me. all true boxing fans get frustrated sometimes but they never turn there back on the sport. i hav a feeling that if oscar would hav won, ur reaction would be the exact opposite of what it is now. go watch UFC you pu$$Y

I didnt pay 55 dollars for 9 minutes worth of undercards and a fight so onesided, it barely deserved to be on regular HBO. I didnt care who was going to win the fight, I thought this was going to be a competitive matchup. Read the post again, I'm not turning my back on it, I'm just not paying for it anymore. Not until they can consistently put together better shows.

and to respond to the last sentence of your post Boxing > MMA. No need for namecalling
