Now before i get started I would like to say I am a huge fan of both fighters but goddamn. Even though I was rooting for Manny to whoop the golden boy the amount of hype being rained all over this board is ridiculous. How is seeing manny paquiao beat a ridiculously wieght drained and unprimed Oscar all of a sudden make him able to beat on guys such as MAYWEATHER or P. WILLIAM, MARGARITO, or COTTO for crying out loud. I didnt see anything in this fight that would make me think that think that he could do that. Beating Oscar says nothing to that. Its apples to oranges.
Now to my main point. Now tons of people are coming out of the woodwork saying that paquiao could beat floyd. Lol people seem to forget how after floyd destroyed hatton how everyone was calling PBF the best of the era. Now if these two fights happened on the same weekend before people could start forgetting i wonder if the hype for paquiao would be so great. Its amazing how short peoples memories are. Mayweather destroyed hatton, Paquiao destroyed Oscar. So once again would the hype be the same or is this a case of what have you done for me lately??
