I just can't understand why so many people are buying into Pac at this weight. Anyone with half a brain could see Oscar ran out of gas somewhere around round two and was a full time zone away from connecting with any of his shots.

I'll hold my hands up and say I didn't expect Pac to beat DH. I thought Oscar - who has always been a VERY hard hitter - would have too much power for him and put the fight to bed early.

HOWEVER, what I didn't expect was an Oscar who has aged ten years in his last 12 months.

The guy was a faint shadow of the ODH who destroyed Chavez and would have destroyed Pac within four or five rounds.

Hatton might be approaching retirement, but he remains a million miles above what we saw from Oscar at the weekend. Certainly I expect him to lay more decent shots on Manny's chin in a round than Oscar did during the entire fight.

So please. Enough of this Pacman/Superman crap. The guy is only human and if he carries on taking on bigger guys sooner or later he's going to get starched.

De La Hoya, a true all time great of this game, should now retire.

I felt physically sick seeing the Golden Boy lose by such a huge margin.

you have to understand that it's not easy to hit and catch manny, he is awkward. also his defense is way better then before.
he's not gonna exchange with bigger guys, he only does that at lower weight class.

I was one of the few that thought Manny would beat Oscar. I'll make a prediction that Hatton beats Manny at 140.

I honestly think that Ricky is stronger at the weight and will put far more pressure on Manny than Oscar did. For as long as he doesn't suddenly age himself ( which is possible, with his own weight making issues! ), I think the Hatton from the Malignaggi fight would beat Saturday's Manny.

It would probably be an untidy smash and grab affair that would likely smother Manny's good work. I doubt that the Manny at 140 would hit any where near as hard as Mayweather at 147, so I lean towards Hatton. Against Pauli, Hatton's pace was pretty furious, I dont think Manny would like that much.

If Hatton does win, he'd have a very good argument fo being pound for pound number one. Thats one hell of a motivation to train hard!

Reasons why I think this way, pacquiao's foot-work, power, speed, stamina, everything is better then Hattons(my opinion). Also, as far as I know Pacquiao is a healthy human-bein. He doesn't get drunk like Ricky Hatton and abuse his body out of the ring...

Pacquiao will hurt Hatton if Hattons signs that Contract.
If Hatton won't sign, Floyd Mayweather will, and if Hatton signs Floyd will fight the winner, which is sad to say, Pacquiao. I like all these three fighters but i must say I'm a big Pacquiao fan right now!

If you guys think that Pacquiao gave DLH a beating, wait until you see the ass-whoopin he's gonna give Hatton.

No disrespects to Hatton. I love Hatton. I'm a Hatton fan. But, Pacquiao is my hero so i think that sums it up.

Can you imagine what the fans will be like? Drunk singing Britians and Drunk ass pinoys. That'd be hilarious.

Hatton is tailor made for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is too fast too strong. Hatton come str8 in and likes to swing wide, like a brawler.

                Str8 lefts all day.....

Let's not get too excited though. It's not even 2009. Paper's aren't even drawn up. But i think everyone knows that Hatton's gonna get his ass whooped. Yes?

Paulie is a piece of **** boxer that's why Hatton beat him... With such coward style, he shouldn't given any change to fight for a belt so don't make that Hatton win a basis for Hatton's performance.. Paulie is nothing, holding all night, coward, and gay.. He deserve a a beating from Hatton, but hatton will get the beating from Manny..
