He barely got hit, if he wanted to and his team let him, he could get it done like in the old days.

I wouldn't throw him in there with a weeks notice though, he should have a proper training camp, and gameplan to face Holt. Ortiz is a beast so he's gonna have a title shot and win soon enough anyway.

Hopefully they get a real good replacement, but I doubt it will be as good a fight as it would have been with Torres.

Mike Alvarado would be a real good replacement or Devon Alexander. Alvarado should be training since he has a fight in a couple weeks, but it would ****t on the Telefutura finale.

BoxingScene.com has received word from more than one reliable source that Ricardo Torres has withdrawn from his trilogy bout with WBO junior welterweight champion Kendall Holt, scheduled for December 13 and televised by Showtime. One source advised BoxingScene that Torres did not properly train for the fight due an illness, was out of shape and had no chance of making the junior welterweight limit. [details]

I must say I am gutted by this news. I was really looking forward to that fight.
