    Did 2008 suck?

The year is pretty much over, a few decent fights left. But how was 2008? It goes out with a ****, with it's biggest fight in December, but as a whole I don't think it was as good as 2007. Cotto-Margarito was awesome, as was JMM-Pacquiao, Pavlik showed promise against Taylor as a middleweight, Hopkins shows he's still got it, but not much more exciting big fights. A lot of old guys fighting for a paycheck. The heavyweights continue to suck. Hopefully 2008 will be the last time Roy, Oscar, Bowe, Toney, and Holyfield fight, so they don't hurt their legacies or themselves any more. I think 2008 wasn't so great, BUT, it leads up to an awesome 2009.

2008 was honestly one of the worst. Of the major fights there really was only Cotto v Marg and Pac V Marquez. It failed compared to 2007. I think 2009 will be a very good year though.

It was missing the drama of Floyd Mayweather! weather you guys like it or not.

There wasnt enough fights that had big time drama. Which big fights other than Cotto/Marg got you on the edge of your seat? The coming out party for Pacquaio and the Vaz V Marq were both great though.
