de la hoya is american man i thought yall knew !!!, yeah his parents are mexican but lets be real, his enviroment now, and his mentality is all americanized. he aint got that gritty, that inner toughness that people have when they are more pure and more connected to their roots, specially when your roots involves growin up in the ****** and with no money for most of your life, and that part of oscars life was longggggggg time ago. Bottom line is Oscar is soft !!! even his lifestyle is ****in soft, that **** translates into the ring specially at this point in oscars career.

I have never seen any indication that growing up in the ******s etc, poor, etc translates to heart in a boxing ring...I have seen the opposite in more than a few cases...I do however DEFINITLY agree with you about guys getting soft, etc....living a fancy life, etc...guys lose some spark...but it doesnt take the ****** to give it (hunger, spark, desire, etc) to them in the first place. Sometimes it even works in reverse... you get a suburban kid who wouldnt even walk down an inner city street out of intimidation...and a hard core ****** kid who knows he rules the streets over guys like that...but when you get them in the ring ONE ON ONE sometimes (certainly not always) the now level playing field shows some very surprising results

I know some gang-****ers who have had tough lives been to juvi/jail etc... and have the weakest spirit around

I hated DLH for this fight and was glad to see him get dealt wit by lil pac, but I wouldn't bring race into it. No warrior quits on the stool no matter what ethnicity they are. This just shows DLH was no longer a warrior at all, just a greedy businessman who couldn't cash in on what was supposed to be easy $.

Well depends what they went to jail for, if they went to jail for robbery, killin any **** like that, then that aint tough to me, that meand u aree weak as **** mentally lol, and they problably aint got a good head on their shoulders in the 1st place lol. like me for example ive grown up in the ****tiest part of puerto rico, now im livin in cali, im not rich, i live check to check but no way im i ever going to do anythin illegal to get easy money, and to me that makes me tough mentally.

So what if this is true? American Mexicans arent any softer thats crazy...A man is a man. Warrior is a warrior. Whatever race and wherever he is born. Thats real talk.
