Barrera wasn't old when he fought Pacquiao the first time, Morales wasn't shot either he made a cloes fight with David Diaz after that. Oscar was still two weight division higher who was coming off a close decision loss to Floyd Mayweather and a W over fringe contender Steve Forbes.
He had sc****d past Marquez in a decision that could have gone either way (I scored it 114-113 Pacquiao but there were alot of give and take rounds)
He moved from Flyweight all the way to Welter beating competent fighters the entire way through his career.
He had beaten good fighters like Larios, Sasakul, Ledwaba, 3k Battery, Velazquez and Diaz none great fighters but all good enough to win titles and get in a few defence and Pacquiao beat all barr Larios by devastating KO.Comment

they need to stop showcasing up and comers against bums or has beens on major undercards.
that's what versus and espn is for.
put some good fights on there. 1 - it showcases 2 fighters per fights rather than 1. 2 - if a undercard fight turns out into a war , the audience would be ready to buy the ppv for the rematch. 3 - they need good undercard fights to save the main event just in case the main event flops.Comment
