    Why are most slick boxers southpaws?

    I was always curious why most of the slick boxers were southpaws

    Because they have an easy time landing the jab that is coming from the opposite side of what most people expect.

    In other words, the opponent is usually thrown off so much by the angles, that they are able to be effective hanging back and throwing punches without having to war it up and get hit a lot themself.
