I definitely didn't expect this ****. I picked Manny to win and all but damn he destroyed him, he debunked Oscar's name from contention with this one and IMO took over as the money man in Boxing. he has a lot of long time De La Hoya fans in pure shock.. Manny solidified the respect I had for him all along, he is a pure class act and I will always respect and support him.
Does anyone think he can have a successful Junior Welterweight career? with guys like Junior Witter, Ricky Hatton, Timothy Bradley, Kendall Holt, Ricardo Torres etc.. can you guys imagine Pacquiao-Bradley? it's a fight I'M SURE no HBO or SHO will pay for but can you imagine that one? 2 brawlers going head first.. and what about WW? can anyone really see him competing with Cotto and technicians like Clottey? after yesterday I don't put it past Pac man, even against an aging, out of prime De La Hoya just to carry the strength to do what he did is astonishing, it wasn't so much as to WHO he was doing that to but more so the fact that he was able to dominate a man who was naturally WAY bigger, he controlled him and beat him defenseless and to me, being someone who called Manny Pacquiao great since when I 1st saw him defeat Lehlo Ledwaba, it was a great feeling to see him triumph..
