pacquiao beating oscar proves calzaghe can beat wladimir

weight classes mean nothing to great fighters, they can move up effortlessly.

u idiots thought oscar would win? calzaghe is better than pacquiao even and wladimir isnt as good as oscar the golden boy.

of course calzaghe would beat wladimir.

Joe does not have any punching power to cause any problems for Wlad.

Pacman is more comparable to Tyson or Moorer -- the relatively small fighters that were able to move up in weight due to their punching power. Of course, Tyson did not technically ``move up", but he more naturally belonged to LHWs or CWs.

^You dont need punching power to take a W from the fight, Joe could outwork Wlad by throwing jabs and would be able to do it because he is fast.

But its hard to tell though.

Tyson more naturally belonged to LHWs? The guy was 200 lbs at age 12 and struggled to get his weight down to 215-220 to increase his speed throughout his career.

Calzaghe would get annihilated, BTW. There is a reason Roy didn't fight Lennox or Vitali (his mandatory) after beating Ruiz.
