Roach looked terrible n the post-fight interview

He was shaking alot, I know thats what happens when you have Parkinsons but last year when he trained oscar he looked fairly stable. His Parkinsons looked to have gotten alot worse, I hope he still has a lot of years left in boxing.

yes, Jim Lampley mentioned that he is now in the advanced stages of Parkinsons. I think the day Roach stops training is the day Pac stops fighting.

maybe ***** will approve stem-cell research so they can find a cure!

Yeah, I also noticed it during his live interview with Merchant before the fight.

It's pretty sad. I don't know if the enormity and stress of the situation made it worse.

I wonder if he's mentoring anyone to take over from him when he has to call it quits.

When Mayweather Sr. and Roach retire. McGirt and Steward will the be the only "great" trainers left, and I debate McGirts greatness as a trainer.

I think Nacho's up there (I don't think he could do much last night). I think Nazeem Richardson is good too, I love his cornerwork with Hopkins. (though didn't he have a stroke a couple of years ago)

And maybe Mustapha Mohammed can mould Dawson into a truly great, great fighter.

He was bad yesterday, shaking alot, but i think the occasion got to him more,he became overwhelmed with it,because in other interview and 24/7,he wasnt like that, nowhere near,i think it was just the nerves

He still seems to be able to handle the pads well enough, as evidenced by the warm ups backstage. It might only be fine motor movement that is increasingly deteriorating. Nerves probably played a role as well.

I had a client before that suffer from Parkinson. He'll be so ok and in a snap he'll be totally different, shaking and movement is 1000 times slower. He'll joke about it and say "IM LOW BATT NOW" needs to recharge, he'll take a lot medicine and in few minutes he's back to normal.

The timing of when a sufferer takes their medication plays a big role in it as well, so while this is clearly a progressive disease, I wouldn't read too much into this solitary moment.
